Outer Banks North Carolina Fishing Reports
I headed offshore today with Chad Webb & crew after several weekends of bad weather only to follow a full moon. I never have very good luck fishing the next day after a bright moon at night. We did manage five dolphin and one sea bass, but we sure tried hard. Maybe next time. Thanks guys
Team Fin-Nagle had a banner day on the first king mackerel tournament of the season. We finished 8th overall, 1st in the 23 & under class for the SKA, Jake was 1st in the junior class, & I was 2nd in the seniors.
This year has been the best in a long time for Speckle trout. You dont even have to be great at casting to catch one. Just ask Charlie.
I\"ve been doing a lot of evening fishing trips lately since the inlet has been a little slow. The sound fishing has been either real good or real slow. A few afternoon storms chased us to the dock early a few days, but overall, we had fun. Thanks to everyone thats come out
The evening fishing trip have been very popular this summer because of the heat. Some evenings, the fishing is better than others, but the sunsets are amazing. We sometimes hook up on nice size fish.
