Fishing over the last few weeks has improved due to the warmer weather, but its not at 100% yet. The Bluefish have ben in and out of the inlet, but the best bite has been on a southwest wind. The fish range form 1-3 lbs., just good eating size. Some 28" plus Stripers have shown up and plenty of small one too. I only seen a few Croakers and Spot. They are on the small size for now. The trout and puppy drum have been hit and miss. The water temp plays a large role in the local inshore fishing and it just needs to warm up . Some Cobia have been taken do in Hatteras, but none our way yet. The offshore boats have had great catches of Tuna and Dolphin. Some boat have also been deep drop fishing for Tilefish and Sea Bass with good success. I have some open dates for trips, so give me a call.
