Striper fishing over the past week has been as good as it gets on the Outer Banks. Limits of fish have been boated most days with all being a nice class of fish. On Saturday, I had Mike Barwick and his buddies from Dinwiddie, VA. These guys wanted to try jigging rather than trolling. The fish were moving fast all day, but they managed to catch plenty of fish. On Sunday, it was my best trip all season. I got to take my son Bryce out for some action. He caught he’s first Striper jigging. What a big smile on his face. It was priceless moment. I do have some dates still open for a Striper experience of a lifetime.

On a sad note, my friend Skip past away last week. I will always miss his fishing stories that I heard every time I saw him. Tight lines and far weather Skip.
